Garnet The
word Garnet comes from the Latin granatum, meaning
"pomegranate" in reference to the color being similar to that of a
pomegranate seed. The birthstone for January, Garnet is a stone of health. It works by extracting negative energies from the chakras and transmuting it to a healthful state. Garnet can assist changing one's world by expanding awareness and the ability to manifest. It brings creative powers forward and balances and stimulates the Kundalini. Garnet amplifies emotional and intellectual connections to help one understand and accept these aspects of the self.
